Future Skills Kickstart is a live, mentor-led starter workshop designed to help you understand where the world of work is going, how data fits into almost every role, and what you need to change in your CV and LinkedIn to stay competitive. It’s the low‑risk, high‑value entry point into the Hands-on Mentor ecosystem. This session is ideal if you’re: Unsure which direction to take in tech, data, or business. Curious about data but not ready to commit to a full module yet. Actively job searching or preparing for a transition and know your CV/LinkedIn needs work. In the workshop, we cover three core pillars: Careers in the Data & Digital Economy You’ll get a clear overview of key roles (from analyst to product to strategy), the skills they actually use, and typical career paths. We demystify job titles and help you understand what these roles look like day‑to‑day so you can see where you might fit. Data Literacy Fundamentals You’ll learn how to read basic charts and tables, understand common metrics, and ask better questions of data—even if you never become a full‑time analyst. The goal is not to teach tools in one session, but to give you the mindset and vocabulary to be “data fluent” in any business context. CV & Profile Upgrade (CV Lab) You’ll work through concrete ways to make your CV and LinkedIn more compelling: focusing on outcomes instead of tasks, highlighting projects and impact, and aligning your profile with the roles you’re aiming for. You’ll see examples of stronger bullet points and headlines, and get clear guidelines you can apply immediately. Future Skills Kickstart is interactive and practical. You can: Reflect on your current skills and map them to future‑proof roles. Ask direct questions about your situation (career change, first job, next step). Work on a live CV/LinkedIn draft and leave with a clear checklist of improvements.
